DeWalt DC925What DeWalt Says

The DeWalt DC925KA cordless hammerdrill/driver is powered by the 18V XRP extended run-time battery for longer run-times and longer battery life. The Dewalt-built motor puts out 480 unit watts of maximum power for outstanding performance in all drilling and fastening applications. The patented transmission has three speeds, providing optimal performance from 0-2,000 RPM while the hammerdrill operates at up to 34,000 blows per minute. The 1/2" chuck is keyless and self-tightening. The standard kit includes two 18V XRP batteries, charger, side handle, heavy-duty carrying case and a 3 year limited warranty.

What We Say

The DC925KA hammerdrill/driver has gobs of torque to get the toughest drilling or driving job done. The hammerdrill setting is great for making anchor holes in masonry and the self-tightening chuck really clamps down on the bit. Although having three speed settings sounds great, there doesn't seem to be a great difference between the second and third speeds. It's also a little on the heavy side compared to comparable competitive models. When DeWalt calls it heavy-duty, they mean it. Overall, this drill is a true workhorse and can power through just about anything you can throw at it.

This drill has lots of power and can handle just about any job I’ve given it. I’ve seen lots of guys in construction using this exact same drill so I guess that says something about it.
