The Makita LXT407 18V cordless combo kit comes with four 18V cordless tools powered by LXT lithium-ion batteries. Included in the kit are a 2-speed 1/2" hammer driver-drill, an impact driver that produces 1,280 in. lbs. of torque, a reciprocating saw with tool-less blade changing system and a 4-position pivoting head worklight with Xenon bulb. The lithium-ion batteries provide extended run time and lower self-discharge. The combo kit also includes two 18V LXT batteries, 30-minute rapid charger, contractor duffel bag and a 3 year tool warranty.

What We Say

The LXT407 kit is a good entry level kit for anyone wanting to get some basic cordless tools from Makita. The drill and the impact driver both have plenty of torque. This particular saw model is only available in certain combo kits but is equal to the BJR181 in performance, although it is a bit shorter. The great thing about the LXT models from Makita is these tools are really lightweight and comfortable to use.
