The Makita BTD141 cordless impact driver is powered by the 18V LXT 3.0 amp hour lithium-ion battery, providing longer life and 2.5 times the charging cycles of a standard battery. The motor produces 1,330 in. lbs. of torque for powering through tough jobs. The driver weighs only 3.4 lbs with the battery attached and is only 5 3/4" long. An electric brake minimizes kickback and provides for immediate stops while the built-in LED light  illuminates the work area. The standard kit includes two 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries, rapid-charge battery charger, tool belt hook, carrying case and 3 year tool warranty.

What We Say

The Makita BTD141 impact driver is almost identical to the BTD140. As good as the 140 is, the 141 is even better. Both have some serious driving power but the BTD141 has been upgraded with 50 in. lbs. of additional torque. For heavy duty use, opt for the higher torque. For general purpose use, opt for whichever model you can find at the lower price!
