The Makita built high torque motor has externally accessible brushes for easy maintenance. The maximum bevel capacity is 50 degrees with 2x material cutting capacity up to 45 degrees. The lithium ion battery provides longer run time and can be completely charged in as little as 30 minutes. The standard kit includes a rapid charger, lithium ion battery, blade, a heavy-duty carrying case and a 3 year limited warranty.

What We Say
The Makita BSS611 is a great saw for light to medium duty cutting. For heavy duty jobs, you will want to upgrade to a more powerful 28V or 36V model. It has a comfortable grip and a reasonable weight. If you're looking for a great general purpose cordless saw, you won't go wrong with this one.
